Penny Marie Marcinkowski

Penny Marie Marcinkowski, age 71, of Toledo passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. She was born August 10, 1950 in Toledo, OH to Charles and Peggy (Snyder) Rawlings. Penny was a graduate of Sylvania Northview High School. She worked for Lott Industries for over 25 years, retiring as a Rehab Tech Supervisor in 2009. Penny was an avid QVC shopper and frequent “Garage Sailor”. She also loved traveling to Tawas City, MI and shopping with her fiancé Roberto, gardening, and motorcycling which she was able to do for many years. She was a former parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sylvania.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Thomas Marcinkowski; and sister, Sherry Rawlings. She is survived by her children, Robert Marcinkowski and Christina (Greg) Lighty; grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Shawn (Kristin), and Matthew (Janita Nieto) Marcinkowski, Zachary, Aidan, and Owen Lighty; great-granddaughters, Aubree, Karyse, Zaniya, and Luna; and fiancé, Roberto Cerda. She also leaves behind her faithful canine companions Paco and Peanut.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 26 from 4-6 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd.  The funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Deacon James Dudley presiding.
