Raymond Joseph “Ray Robarge, age 79, of Northwood, OH passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Advanced Specialty Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 4, 1944 in Toledo, OH to George and Genevia Robarge. Ray was a Veteran of the US Army. After earning his associate degree in business, he worked for M&S Manufacturing for over 30 years, retiring as a machine operator in 2010. He was also employed as a truck driver and welder. Ray enjoyed fishing and boating at Luna Pier, playing bingo, and vacationing at his summer home in Florida. A loving and caring father and grandfather, he had a fun sense of humor and could always make people laugh.
Ray is survived by his loving companion, Christina Crossett; son, Christopher (Sally Jo) Crossett; grandchildren, Christopher Kratos Crossett and Scarlett Marie Crossett; brothers, Bud and Robert Robarge; and sister, Susan Robarge. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Leila Robarge.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 21 from 2-6 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The funeral service will begin Sunday at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Deacon Jim Dudley presiding. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
