Richard Michael "Rick" Dumm

Richard Michael “Rick” Dumm, age 61, of Toledo, passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. He was born on July 28, 1963 in Toledo, OH to Richard Claire and Rita (Hoffman) Dumm. Rick was a graduate of Start High School. His places of employment included Cedar Point, Sun Chemical, and Textile Leather. Rick loved fishing and was an enthusiastic fan of hockey and Ohio State Football. A loving and proud father, he never missed his son Ricky’s hockey games at Youth Hockey, St. John’s Jesuit High School, and the University of Toledo. He and Ricky also participated in many of the Labor Day walks over the Mackinaw Bridge. He was a longtime parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.

Rick is survived by his son, Richard Daniel “Ricky” Dumm; and aunt, Elaine Hoffman. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Friday, August 30 from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will begin Saturday, August 31 at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Regina Coeli Church at 1 p.m.
