Robert Wade “Bob” Hansen, age 55, of Toledo, OH passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the Cleveland Clinic Medical Center. He was born May 15, 1969 in Toledo, OH to Marvin and Barbara Ann (Schick) Hansen. Bob was a graduate of Libbey High School “Class of ‘87”, Owens Community College, and the University of Toledo where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He began his working career as a teenager, mowing lawns with his best friend Chris Hawley and went on to work at LeRoux’s Billyle Supper Club, the Anderson’s in Maumee, and the Foodtown on Byrne Rd. and Glendale. Licensed as an X-ray technician in 1994, he was the PACS administrator in the cardiovascular lab at the University of Toledo Medical Center for 20 years, working at UTMC for over 30 years. He was also a Reservist with the US Navy Seabees. Bob was truly devoted to his family. He enjoyed grilling, listening to music, and spending time with his friends and loved ones.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Jaqueline (Petryk) Hansen; mother, Barbara Hansen; son, Lucas Wade Hansen; daughter, Rachel Helen Hansen; sisters, Melissa Hansen, Carol (Jeremy) Carter, and Jeanette (Daryl) Duncan; brother, Nathan (Kimberly) Hansen; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Hansen.
A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, March 22 from 1-4 p.m. at Waterville Community Church, 8217 Dutch Rd., Waterville, OH 43566, 419-878-2297, with the funeral service beginning at 4 p.m.
