Robert William “Bob” Sellers, age 61, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 10, 1963 in Toledo, OH to William and Jacqueline (McEwen) Sellers. Bob was a graduate of Start High School. He was a member of Painters Local 7 for over 25 years, retiring in 2019. An avid golfer and bowler, he bowled in the Toledo Blade Classic. He was also a big fan of NASCAR and sprint races. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, his happiest times were those spent with his cherished grandchildren.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Mary Lou (Wherry) Sellers (married in August of 1991); father, William; children, Aliesha (Jeremy) Shirey, Krystal Sellers, and Robert (Morgan Tate) Sellers Jr.; and grandchildren, Jayden Shirey, Haley Kominek, Julieonna Shirey, Rylee Anteau, Axel Anteau, and Braydon Kominek. Also surviving are his siblings, Susan (Terry) Sharp, Kimberly Conrad, and Jeffery Sellers; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jaqueline and nephew, Michael Riddle.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 28 from 2-7 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Deacon James Dudley presiding.
