Rose Marie Jagodzinski

  Rose Marie J. Jagodzinski, 82 of Maumee, OH passed away August 29th, 2022 with her family in loving care by her side.

  Rose Marie was born on September 1, 1939 to Alphonse and Dorothy (Wilczynski) Kowalski.  She graduated from Whitney High School.  On August 31, 1957 she married the “love of her life” Ron Jagodzinski with whom she raised four children – Steve, Dave, Kathy & Karen.She loved spending time with family, friends, and members of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.  She loved hosting dinners and events at her home.  She was well known for her detailed planning of family vacations, endless hours of knitting, St Charles Borromeo parish events and bingo. 

  Rose Marie enjoyed spending time with each of her six grandchildren including their school and athletic events.  She had a devout and prayerful relationship with God and the Blessed Virgin Mary.  She was preceded in death by her parents Al and Dorothy Kowalski. Rose Marie will be greatly missed by her surviving family especially husband Ron; children Steve (Sheila) Jagodzinski; Dave (Susie) Jagodzinski; Kathy Snell & Dave Shock; Karen (Steve) Connor and her grandchildren Brandon, Jimmy, Jon, Morgan, Michael & Charlie.

  Visitation will be held in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Saturday, September 3 from 9-11 a.m.  The Funeral Mass for Rose Marie will begin at 11 a.m. with Fr. Greg Peatee presiding.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

  We are grateful for the love and compassion she received from Fr. Greg Peatee and staff at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish, and the Doctors, Nurses and Caregivers, especially Tracy Lacer and Jessica Marquis, from Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
