Rosemary Martin

Rosemary Martin, age 100, formerly of Hallgate Ave. in Toledo, OH, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 21, 1926, in Cleveland, OH to Joseph and Mary (Kinzel) Keltner. Rosemary graduated from West High School in Cleveland. She worked parttime at Sears & Roebuck department store and also spent 10 years as a cook and server at “Parties with Personalities.” She was a charter parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church where she served as a member and past President of the church’s Altar Rosary Society. Rosemary married the love of her life, John L. Martin on April 19, 1947. They raised three children - Judy, Jack, and Joe. A loving wife, mother, and homemaker, she enjoyed baking, especially during the holidays, playing cards, and going to the casino. She was also quite skilled at needlepoint, which she loved.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John in 1995; and brothers, Robert and William Keltner. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Martin; sons, John (Janet) Martin and Joseph Martin; and many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Mass will be Friday, May 29 at 10:00 a.m. in Regina Coeli Catholic Church, 530 Regina Parkway, Toledo, OH 43612. A private committal service will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
