Sandra Ann Czubachowski

Sandra Ann Czubachowski, age 75, of Sylvania, OH passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio’s Ebeid Hospice Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 4, 1949 in Toledo, OH to Edwin and Dorothy (Adamski) Czubachowski. Sandra was a graduate of McAuley High School “Class of 1967” and Owens Community College. She retired from St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center after 43 years of service as a registered nurse. In addition to her work at St. Vincent, she was a registered nurse for the offices of Dr. Diethelm, Dr. Billings, and Dr. Brats. Sandra enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, watching westerns and classic movies, and playing church bingo. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Sandra is survived by her sister, Nancy Czubachowski; nephew, Jason Czubachowski; niece, Stacy (Jonathan) Schisler; great nephews, Mason and Hunter Czubachowski and Matthew and Cole Schisler; aunts, Ruth Adamski and Lucille Adamski; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Czubachowski; and great-niece, Erin Schisler.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6 from 2-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. with a rosary at 7 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6149 Hill Ave., Toledo, preceded by visitation at the church from 9-10 a.m. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
