Sara Anne Snow

Sara Anne Snow, age 51, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 4, 1973 in Toledo, OH to Melvin and Jeri (Hill) Yates. Sara was a graduate of Whitmer High Schol “Class of 91”, and Lourdes University. She was employed as a teacher for Glenwood Elementary School grades 6 through 8, and an active member of Glenwood’s Building Committee, AVID Committee, and Girls on the Run program. She also played softball, coached the 5th grade girls’ basketball team, and participated in the crochet club at the school. A loving wife and mother, Sara was always a positive, happy, and thankful individual. She will be dearly missed by family, friends, students, and coworkers alike.

Sara was preceded in death by her father Melvin Yates; and son, Austin Wanless. She is survived by her devoted husband of 23 years (married March 17, 2001), Brian Snow; mother, Jeri Yates; children, Justin (Lexus), Jake, Logan, and Tre Snow; and brothers, Todd (Mary) and Johnny (Katie) Yates; and faithful canine companion, Minnie Lou.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 24 from 2-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The funeral service will begin Sunday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Dr. Michael Carr presiding.
