Shawna Marie Wodarski

Shawna Marie Wodarski, age 50, of Toledo passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Mercy St. Anne Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 3, 1972 in Toledo, OH to Frederick “Buddy” and Barbara (Dombrowski) Latz III. Shawna was a graduate of Sylvania Northview High School. She was employed as a mail processor for the USPS downtown branch for the past 9 years, and before that as a secretary at the Vistula Manor and a hotel manager for the Cross Country Inn. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed crafting, playing Pokémon, listening to Bon Jovi, cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, and most of all, being with her family. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.  

Shawna is survived by her father, Frederick; husband, John F. Wodarski Jr.; son, John (Kelsey) Wodarski III; daughter, Kyrsten (David) Brown; grandson, Benjamin Wodarski and another on the way; brother, Frederick (Tracy) Latz; niece and nephew, Madalyn and Bryce. Her mother, Barbara preceded her in death.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21 from 2-7 p.m. and Thursday from 9-11 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. A prayer service will begin Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home followed by interment in Toledo Memorial Park.
