Shirley Ann Koralewski

Shirley Ann Koralewski, 82, of Toledo, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born May 13, 1941 in Toledo, OH to Clarence and Helen (Topolewski) Koralewski. Shirley worked for Daimler Chrysler Jeep Corporation for 23 years as a paint production operator, retiring in 2001.  She also held various positions at Ontario Discount Stores, LaSalle’s, Tiedtke’s, TOPPS, and W. T. Grant. An active lady, she was a member of the Humane Society, TAPS, IMA, Danny Thomas St. Jude’s Hospital, and a lifetime member of WGTE PBS Broadcasting.  Shirley really enjoyed rock & roll and Polish music and collected 45’s and albums. She loved all animals, playing the accordion, and polka dancing. She was a big Atlanta Braves baseball fan.

Shirley is survived by her brother, Clifford (Carol) Koralewski; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joan (Edward) Zaciek; and brothers, Kenneth (Alice) Mikolajczyk and Frank Mikolajczyk Jr.    

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6 from 3-7 p.m. in Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Funeral services will begin Thursday at 10:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Clement Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
