Shirley Anne Rzadecki, 77, of Toledo, passed away at home on Friday, April 22, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 11, 1945 in Toledo, OH to Judson and Gladys (Curnutt) Brown. Shirley was a graduate of Woodward High School, “Class of 1963”. She was employed as a teller at several area banks including First Federal Savings and Loan, and as a Human Resource consultant for Air Transport International in Swanton, OH for 15 years, retiring in 2005. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker, she enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
Shirley is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Richard Rzadecki (married September 18, 1965); children, Richard Allen (Terri Ulrich) Rzadecki, Cheryl Lynn (Howard) Gilbert, and Daniel (Nadine) Rzadecki; grandchildren, Laurie Oaks, Katelyn Rzadecki, Matthew Rzadecki, and Nathan Rzadecki; 2 great-grandchildren; and sister, Barbara (Keith) Lentz. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Jenkins; brothers, Charles, James, and William Brown; and granddaughter, Danielle Rzadecki.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27 from 4-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe 114 E. Alexis Rd. where members of the St. Catherine Church Marian Society will lead a rosary at 4 p.m. Funeral services will begin Thursday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in St. Catherine Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
