Sue Carol Rochowiak

 Sue Carol Rochowiak, age 85, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021 at the Lakes of Monclova care center surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 24, 1935 in Toledo, OH to Alfred and Audrey (Woodruff) Shook.  Sue was employed as a custodian for the US Post Office main branch on South St. Clair for 10 years, and as a sales associate at Leo Marks Jewelers and Tiedtke’s department store in downtown Toledo. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker, she enjoyed camping and boating, and was a member of the River View Yacht Club.

  Sue is survived by her children, Alan (Sue) Nelson, Lori Alger, John (Susan) Rochowiak, Caroline (Gary) Hafner, Joseph (Karen) Rochowiak, and Debbie (Bill) Bensman; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Joseph Rochowiak and Kenneth Nelson; daughter, Kathy Rochowiak; sister, Bertha York; and brothers, Edward, Richard, Paul, and Robert Shook.

  Visitation will be Tuesday, April 20 from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park.
