Susan Joan Kurdys

Susan J. Kurdys, age 70, of Toledo passed away peacefully at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania on Wednesday, November 30 2022. She was born on July 15, 1952 in Toledo, OH to Raymond and Joan (Langa) Kurdys. Susan was a graduate of St. Anthony Grade School and Central Catholic High School, “Class of 1970”. She was a former member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and a current member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She worked at Owens Illinois in Information Systems for 36 ½ years retiring as Voice /Data Communications Supervisor. She was a member of the O-I Golden Emblem Club. One of Susan’s favorite hobbies was gardening. She loved her flowers and always planted beautiful gardens around her home.

Susan is survived by her uncle, John Langa; lifelong friend and companion, Mary Ann Malinowski; cousins, Marcine Helmier and Gregory (Priscilla) Janatowski; and dear friend, Denise McHue. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 4 from 2-6 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Funeral services will begin Monday at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home and continue with the Funeral Mass in Christ the King Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
