Terry Lee Swiderski

Terry Lee Swiderski, age 73, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 13, 1951 in Toledo, OH to Leonard and Mary (Gast) Swiderski. Terry was a graduate of St. John Jesuit High School and received his associate’s degree in nursing from the University of Toledo. He began his working career at Champion Spark Plug where he was employed for 19 years. He went on to work for 10 years at Riverside Hospital and 20 years at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital as a registered nurse in Psychiatric Intensive Care. He was also a volunteer firefighter with Oregon Station #2.

Terry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and was a fan of University of Michigan football and the Toledo Walleye. He also loved all animals, especially his dogs “Bella” and “Beau”.

Terry is survived by his loving wife, Dana Neiding-Swiderski (married September 17, 2010); children, Bryan (Tricia) Swiderski, Darron (Ashley) Swiderski, and Ashlee (Josh) Swiderski; and grandchildren, Sidney Swiderski, Braydi Swiderski, Jordyn Brown, Quinn Swiderski, and Jase Johnston. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Terry’s life on Saturday, February 15th from 1 - 5 p.m. at the Maumee Bay Brewing Company Warehouse, 201 Morris St., Toledo, OH 43604.
