Theresa A. Pakulski, age 92, of Toledo, peacefully entered heaven on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. She was born on July 10, 1930 in Mt. Pleasant, MI to John and Sophie (Wallace) Demski.
Theresa spent her life loving and nurturing her family. She was a very good Polish cook and a family historian, remembering the names of distant relatives and their relation to each other. A longtime parishioner of St. Adalbert Catholic Church, she held positions in the Mothers’ Club and worked on various activities. She was active in the CCHS Band Boosters. She held several jobs, including secretary at Central Catholic High School, bakery cake decorator, and hardware store afficionado. Her ultimate job, that she excelled at, was real estate broker for Robert F. Lindsay Co. She enjoyed outings at various casinos, especially the slot machines. The last few years she was a constant winner at bingo while a resident at an assisted living facility.
Theresa is survived by her son, William (Karen) Pakulski; daughter, Barbara (Steve, deceased) Houghtell; grandchildren, Kathy (Matthew) Abramowski, and James (Ashley) Houghtell; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Gabriella, and Bridgette Abramowski, and Eaden, Ellec, and Ezra Houghtell; step-grandchild, Kate Iacovelli; step-great grandchild, Stella Iacovelli. She was preceded in death by her parents, her devoted husband of 66 years, John, loving daughter, Sandy Jasper, sons-in-law, Steve Houghtell and Bob Jasper; step-grandson, Chad Kopper; and brothers, Thomas, George and Carl Demski.
Visitation will be Monday, October 17 from 9-10 a.m. at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 3233 Lagrange St., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
