Thomas Edward DeMuth Sr.

Thomas Edward DeMuth Sr., age 70, of Toledo passed away at home on Monday, May 2, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 11, 1952 in Toledo, OH to Glenn and Edna Mae (Howey) DeMuth. Tom was a graduate of Whitmer High School and employed at Ford Motor Co. for 30 years. A skilled and creative craftsman, he enjoyed working with both wood and brick. He was also a good pool player, a collector of Kentucky Derby glasses and H-O trains, and an enthusiastic fan of Nascar and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tom is survived by his wife, Pamela (Schonter) DeMuth (married May 8, 2006); sons, Thomas (Michelle) DeMuth Jr. and Anthony DeMuth; sisters, Gwen (Al) Vollmer and Debbie (Dave) Ahrens; mother-in-law, Carol Schonter; sister-in-law, Julie (Tim) Mabry; grandchildren, Madison, Isabelle, and Anthony Jr.; and nieces, Erin, Chelsey, Kacey, and Abigail. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 8 from 4-8 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 East Alexis Rd.  Interment will be at a later date in Toledo Memorial Park.
