Thomas Subleski, age 64, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday April 23, 2025 surrounded by his close friends.
Thomas was born on December 21, 1960 in Toledo, OH to his parents Ralph and Veronica Subleski. A graduate of Start High School, Thomas worked at Barrett / Varta Battery for many years then moved onto other employment ventures. Thomas was a "motorhead" and always worked on his own cars earning his nickname "Spud", since he frequently visited Spuds Salvage to purchase his automotive parts. Thomas was an avid rock concert enthusiast, attending over hundreds of concerts with his many friends. Thomas was also an avid Donald Trump, NASCAR, Miami Dolphins, LA Lakers, Montreal Canadians, Detroit Tigers, and Michigan Wolverines Fan. Like his mother Veronica, Thomas was an avid fan of "The Young and the Restless" and never missed watching an episode. He was a parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Veronica Subleski and his sister Kathleen Lucio.
Thomas will be deeply missed by his close friends and they all know that Tom is in a much better place. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to Regina Coeli Catholic Church for Masses to be offered in his memory.
Psalm 23
"The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil,
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever".
