William Reeves Obituary

William Arthur “Bill” Reeves, age 84, of Toledo, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Kingston Care Center, Sylvania surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 26, 1934 in Toledo, OH to William and Phyllis (Brown) Reeves Sr. Bill was a graduate of Macomber Vocational High School and the University of Toledo. He was Vice President of Mosser Construction, owner of Commonwealth Construction Company, and also worked for The Lathrop Corporation and Bostleman Construction, adding up to a 46 year career in the construction profession. An avid outdoorsman, Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, and working in between. He was a former parishioner of Regina Coeli Catholic Church where he served as an Usher, and was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Bill is survived by his children, Steve (Erin) Reeves, Suzy (Mark) Guess, Spencer (Sue) Reeves, and Matt Reeves; grandchildren, Eden, Blaike and Alaina Makutz; Mitchell (Alicia) Guess, Jillian (Ron) Incerta, Clark (Linh) Guess, Mackenzie, Collin, and Cameron Reeves, and Addison and Sheridan Scott; great-grandchildren, Carter and Lincoln Guess, and Finley Incerta; brother, Bob (Diane) Reeves; and dear friends, Connie Longanbach, Frank Unkle, and Bill Rodgers. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Joan Reeves; and wife, Janet L. Reeves.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 9 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. The Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Ron Winslow presiding. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
Bill's children would like to give a special thank you to all the caregivers at Kingston of Sylvania, who cared for him over the last several years, along with the Promedica Hospice staff who worked along side of them the last several weeks on his final journey.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
