Yvonne Bernhoffer

Yvonne Bernhoffer, 83, of Toledo, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. She was born June 10, 1937 in Caywood KY to McKinley and Laura (Ball) Mitchell. Yvonne was a devoted homemaker, supportive mother, and loving grandmother and great grandmother. A Born Again Christian, she loved reading the Bible and watching televangelist Kenneth Copeland. She was a member of the Cathedral of Praise church.

Yvonne is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Leesa) McGill, Dr. Eric Bernhoffer, and Christopher (Monica) Bernhoffer; grandchildren, Jimmy McGill Jr. and Amanda White; great-grandchildren, McKai and Camryn; sister Viola Cheetwood; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Anton Bernhoffer Sr.; son, Anton Bernhoffer Jr., sisters, Bertha, Matt, Rose, and Nannie; and brothers, Elmer and McKinley Jr.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 20 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, 114 E. Alexis Rd. Funeral services will be Saturday at 12 p.m. in the Funeral Home with Pastor Dawn Balduf presiding. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. All those attending visitation and services are asked to wear a facial covering and follow social distancing guidelines.
