SERVICES WITH BURIAL OR ENTOMBMENT

At Sujkowski Funeral Home Northpointe, we are dedicated to helping families honor their loved ones through meaningful, personalized services that reflect a life well lived. For those choosing burial or entombment, we offer a range of thoughtful options designed to provide comfort, closure, and a lasting tribute.

A traditional funeral service typically includes a viewing or visitation, where family and friends gather to pay their respects. The deceased may be present in either an open or closed casket, allowing time for reflection and farewell. This is followed by a funeral ceremony, which may be held at our funeral home or at a place of worship, offering space for remembrance, shared stories, and spiritual support.

The service concludes with a committal ceremony, which may involve an in-ground burial at a cemetery, entombment in a mausoleum, or a burial at sea, depending on the family’s preferences and traditions.

For those who prefer a simpler option, we also offer the choice of a graveside service, where all elements of the service, from the ceremony to the final committal, take place directly at the cemetery. This intimate setting provides a quiet, dignified way to say goodbye in a peaceful outdoor environment.

Our experienced and compassionate team is here to support you with personalized care, clear guidance, and attention to every detail. We are honored to walk alongside you during this time and to help create a service that truly reflects your loved one’s life and legacy.

SERVICES WITH CREMATION

Cremation is a respectful and meaningful option chosen by many families, and we are here to guide you through each step with compassion and professionalism.

Many families choose to include a funeral service with viewing and a religious ceremony before cremation. This option closely mirrors a traditional funeral and may include a time for gathering, visitation, and a service held at our funeral home or a place of worship. The deceased may be present in a casket for viewing, providing loved ones the opportunity to say goodbye. Following the service, cremation takes place, and the cremated remains may be buried, placed in a mausoleum niche, or returned to the family for a personal form of remembrance or tribute.

A memorial service is another thoughtful option. These gatherings are often held in a church or at our funeral home and may or may not include the cremated remains. Families often find comfort in gathering to honor their loved one in a meaningful setting.

For those who prefer a simpler arrangement, direct cremation is available. This option does not include any formal ceremonies and is chosen by families who may wish to hold a private remembrance at a later time.

Many families select a decorative urn to hold the cremated remains. If the urn is to be buried, some cemeteries may require an outer burial container, and we are here to help guide you through that process.

We invite you to contact us to learn more about the cremation options we offer. Whether you're planning ahead or facing a recent loss, our caring team is here to help you create a tribute that reflects your loved one’s life with dignity, love, and respect.
